Terms of Use

Last updated: 5 September 2026

These terms cover how to use spoko.space. They are short, because the site is simple: a portfolio, a blog and a contact form. There is no shop, no user accounts and no payments.

Who runs this site

The site is run by Szymon Berski, trading as spoko.space, based in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.

Contact: contact@spoko.space.

What you get

I make three things available free of charge:

  • content — service descriptions, portfolio and blog articles,
  • a contact form — so you can write to me without opening your mail client,
  • RSS feeds — if you would rather read the blog in a reader.

All of it is free and none of it requires registration. I sell nothing here — if we end up working together, the terms of that are agreed separately, off this site.

What you need

A device with an internet connection and a current browser. Some features — the theme switch, the form, remembering your cookie choice — need JavaScript enabled. Without it you can still read everything.

Using the contact form

The form is for enquiries about projects and questions about the site. When you use it:

  • give real contact details, so a reply can reach you,
  • do not send unlawful or abusive content, or other people’s personal data without a basis for it,
  • do not use it for bulk sending, sales pitches or link building.

The form is protected against bots. Messages that break these rules are deleted without a reply.

What happens to your data after you submit the form is described in the privacy policy.

The text, photographs, example code and design of this site are mine, unless a particular item says otherwise.

You are welcome to quote passages from articles with attribution and a link to the source — that is the point of writing a blog. You may not republish whole articles elsewhere or use them commercially without my permission.

Company names and trademarks mentioned in the portfolio belong to their owners.

What this content is not

Blog articles describe my own experience and way of working. They are not legal advice, tax advice, or a security audit of your site. Before applying anything you read here, judge whether it fits your situation — and take a backup before changing a live site.

I try to keep the site running and the content current, but I do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Sometimes something is mid-change.

Articles and portfolio entries link to sites I do not run. I am not responsible for their content or for how they handle data — once you click through, their rules apply.

Complaints

If something is broken, or you object to something published here, write to contact@spoko.space and describe the problem. I reply within 14 days.

If you are a consumer and we cannot settle it directly, out-of-court dispute resolution is available; in Poland, information is published by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) and by municipal and district consumer ombudsmen.

Changes

If the rules change, I will update this page and the date at the top. Changes apply to use of the site from the moment they are published — they do not act retroactively.

Matters not covered here are governed by Polish law.
